"Dialogue with Trubar" - by Srečko Kosovel (§)

(Sežana 18th March 1904 - Tomaj 26th May 1926).

_______&_______

".......Kosovel was born in 1904 to Anton and Katarina Kosovel (née Streš) in Sežana, a town in the Kras region of the County of Gorizia and Gradisca, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His mother, descendant of a wealthy Slovene family from Trieste, was 40 years old at the time of his birth. His father was a local teacher and a choir leader from the Vipava Valley. Srečko was the youngest of five children; he had a brother and three sisters. Srečko and his family lived in the nearby village of Tomaj until 1924.....

..........The year 1925 was Kosovel's most productive period. It was also a time that saw him shift his politics to the left. As his prose became simpler in style, it had a greater appeal to the proletariat. Kosovel conceived the idea of a proletarians' writers union and a publishing house called Strelci ("Archers"), in which his collection of constructivist poetry could also be published.

During all this period, the "Ivan Cankar Club" continued its activity, organizing literary and poetic evenings. In a winter evening in 1926, Kosovel visited the industrial town of Zagorje to perform in one of such events. Following his recital, Kosovel waited for the train to return to Ljubljana, catching a cold, which eventually developed into meningitis. He returned to his home village in the Kras to cure himself, but died on 26 May 1926. He was buried on 29 May 1926. His coffin was adorned with a ribbon with the colours of the Slovene flag placed on it. The Italian Carabinieri, who had been present at the burial to prevent any "nationalist" outburst, threatened to exhume the coffin to remove the ribbon but this did not occur.......

Where's still a beauty, the Devil comes to marr it! The village of Tomaj, in the surrrounding of the little town of Sežana, is famous because here lived one among the most moderne poets of Europe, Srečko Kosovel. Today, more than eighty years after his death, the cement which will welcome the Italians and the Italianization, is going to bury the memory and the spirit of the greatest son of Primorje. Don't worry, the other figure of the art and poetry of Primorje is a Roman Catholic priest, Simon Gregorčič (1844 - 1906). If one must disappear, just guess who of both is on the black list...

I searched the original page of the below article, appeared on Primorske Novice and reported by the site www.ibn.si. I searched using the entire title "Kosovel se obrača v grobu" ("Kosovel is turning over in his grave"). But clicking on the result appearing in the Google's search page:

....you are re-directed to the first page of Primorske Novice without any reference to the article. Also using the inner search engine of the online daily, you find nothing else than to perceive that the article has been simply: censored.

Well, all that smell of anti-modernist crusade. Kosovel was really modern, and was able to link the most deep and ancient soul with the most modern language and aspirations of the secularized world. His poem "Dialogue with Trubar", is the most wonderful description of the Slovenian identity ever done. For this reason, you can imagine how he would have suffered, if not died at 22 years age in 1926, the sequent Ledochowski's religious Eurasian carnage:

"........According to a paper SPIRITUAL GEOPOLITICS: FR. EDMUND WALSH AND JESUIT ANTICOMMUNISM, by Gearóid Ó Tuathail / Gerard Toal, Department of Geography, Virginia Tech.:

By the early twentieth century, the leadership of the Catholic Church was at war with the modern world. The tone was established by the papal declarations of Pius X condemning "Americanism" in 1899 and repudiating the heresy of "modernism" in 1907. Within the Jesuits, the anti-modernist creed was lead by Father Wlodimir Ledochowski who governed the society as its Superior General from 1915 to his death in 1942. The son of Polish nobility serving the Habsburg court, Ledochowski embodied the reactionary sentiments of old regime Catholicism (MacDo nough 1992, 65-68).

So prepare yourself, Srečko! Also in your after-life! Your poetry no more hits the hearts of Slovenes! They are deaf in their soul and they are only wishing to sell it to Rome. They sold you and your spirit and your words. They abandoned also the people of your native village and their struggle. The Slovenia of Slomšek, and not the one of Trubar, let to gave away it in exchange of an indulgence, those Euro which should save her from the rage of Rome:

Kosovel is turning over in his grave

From: http://www.ibn.si/articles/detail/2828

"We are not a priori against the construction, we were not against development but not for this build. Such as it was presented today is for Tomaj unacceptable" the president of the local community of Tomaj, Vojko Terčon, summed up the opinion of the inhabitants of Tomaj, in the late evening of Wednesday, about the announcement of the construction of a new neighborhood with 70 homes south of the village.

For his words, the President of the local community garnered booming applause from the presents, who now expect from the municipality Sežana that will be easier in future decisions on this issue.

On Wednesday evening it occured a long-awaited meeting between members of the local community Tomaj and the proposers for building of new settlements , that is Sežana Adriaplan company , a subsidiary of Sežana Adriatic . Adriaplan has been represented by the director Boštjan Žiberna, the project presented by the architect Vladimir Krajcar.

At the start the atmosphere was edgy as at the war-front, tension is not slowed down either by the end of the debate. Drago Černe strongly asked to Ziberna Krajcarj the question: "What brought you Tomaj? What are you taking away, we already know it. "

Žiberna answered to build public Adriaplan infarstruktur - roads, sewage system, sewage treatment and children's playground - which will be used by other villagers. This public infastruktur represents a major investment in place, he assured, however, the present people of Tomaj with that response were not satisfied. Discourage include: "After three years you will no longer be here, here will remain all the problems. The new settlement will forever mar the figure of Tomaj. "

Stane Henigman warned: "Our grandfathers hadn't at disposition architects, to do what they have done, and today, we all are praising to their construction. What is in preparation here, is, however, far from that.” He pointed out: " Architects are very dangerous people. If they make a mess, it will be corrected in the next three, four or five generations. "

Isidor Škrelj was determined: "This village belongs to the outskirts, but here it undermines the sense of Karst." Then Drago Černe added: "Let's understand that people who make this project work with all their heart and with all the desire to have success, because from that they'll gain a lot of earnings, but the facilities will remain here for centuries. This is happening to us, here and now. Children will laugh at us and grandchildren surely.” Vojko Pintar on the initiative said:"This is pure absurdity! "

Do not run more with carts

Vladimir Krajcar has ensured that the village with 45 new houses and 70 apartments easily be integrated into the landscape. Built in accordance with the rules and spatial planning documents of the municipality. In accordance with tradition karst accommodation will "watch" on the south or west, with the back of the house facing the wind. The construction is compact, as it always was in the Karst region, but the timing of such works, as it was known in the Karst a hundred or two hundred years ago, is forever gone. "What our and your grandfathers were accustomed to came from scarcity and poverty. Today, customers would not buy such built new houses , as well they do not drive the carts. Even in developed Scandinavian countries, is the construction of new neighborhoods compact, as this is more organic and provides a more rational construction of municipal infrastructure," said the designer.

A lifeline for Adriatic company?

The inhanbitants of Tomaj however, disagreed: "These are urban standards in the heart of the Karst," they considered and added. "This project is over Slovenia condemned as a disaster that may occur to Slovenian architecture."

Investor 's decision of 45 houses with about 70 apartments on 36,300 square meters of surfaces have been denigrated as a way to make as large and quick profit possible."It imposes the thought that you've come to the land of Tomaj in order to solve your problems. Book value per share of Jadran building company is 9200 former SIT, while the stock market 4200. You are missing half the value of the company" said Černe and pointed out that the Adriatic company is operating for the third year in the red.

Boston Žiberna replied: "Jadran business are all along these years of gains. This is pure manipulation. "Andrej Černe asked him:" Do you think appropriate that your benefit crushes our view of the land, our life in this land? "Drago Černe and Isidor Škerlj subsequently requested that the size of individual parcels would be of at least 1,500 square meters, which has been rejected, by Krajcar, as untenable from the standpoint of environmental protection and rational utilization of resources.

Žiberna explained that the compact construction is in accordance with the tradition of Karst and that the investor has opted for it because the homes will be aimed at young families. So they will not fall within the highest price zone and will not occupy a large area. Notwithstanding the opposition of the people of Tomaj the project will continue: "As the soil can be legally used for building activity, we know that will be built here."

From the types of listeners, among whom were also the loud speaking Leon Bida and Vojko Pintar, was heard: "The most disturb us that the municipality became a prisoner of this project, which , in the case the investors in Tomaj would succeed, will soon drag here, behind them, other ones all along the Karst.

As an atomic bomb

Žiberna replied: "I do not know why this is a massive project, and each house will have its building permit, construction will take five, six or more years. The municipality is taking place a lot of projects that are much larger than this, but it is presented as an atomic bomb. " Nataša Bucik replied:" But this is! Nowhere else in the Karst in the old part of the village it is built more than 70 new homes! "

Žiberna said that any moves of Adriaplana are in accordance with applicable municipal spatial planning documents: "In June we sent to the municipality a letter to obtain guidelines for the construction, to which the municipality has not yet responded. This means that this project has no comment.”

The people of Tomaj were of a different view: "Kosovel be turning in his grave at the launch of the project. And not only he but all the late Tomajci." To the words that the municipality did not give any reply and that Adriaplan sees this as a support, responded a municipal council member of the municipality of Sežana (the one responsabile for the permissions – avles) , Robert Rogič and stated that the opinion of the Municipal Committee for Infrastructure and Planning are clear: "Such works should be avoided." Municipal council meetings are public, reports on them were published in the media and I think it's clear what is the position of the municipality, said the Robert Rogič and ensured that for the protection of karst landscape it talks a series of documents of experts, from the proposal for the inclusion of Karst on the UNESCO list of world heritage to the Spatial Development Strategy of Slovenia.

"Italianization" as metaphore and method of Roman Catholic Latinization

_____&_____

-------------------------------
Corrected six hours later: "Kosovel would turn in his grave" with the most respectful to the original text "Kosovel is turning over in his grave". And instead ".... is burying the memory and the spirit of the greatest son of Primorje. ", read: ".... is going to bury the memory and the spirit of the greatest son of Primorje. ". It is better to not declare the Devil a winner before having seeing the end of the match.... (plus minimal corrections of the poem and added the pic of Srečko!)

Pogovor s Trubarjem

Tvoje srce je belo
od davnine,
je kot kos kamna.—
Belo je, belo
od mesečine.

Ogenj ti
plapola iz oči
v tihi večer
in, glej,

To so čiste manipulacije.”

"......The original title of Damatin's translation was Bibilija, tu je vse svetu pismu stariga inu noviga testamenta, slovenski tolmačena skuzi Jurija Dalmatina ("The Bible: That Is, the Entire Holy Scripture of the Old and the New Testament, translated into Slovene by Jurij Dalmatin"), and it was published in 1584, printed in the Bohorič alphabet. Psychoanalist Paul Fonda, in total un-awareness (like his patients), perfectly describes the Continuing Counter Reformation goals and the historical processes needed for the Roman Catholicization of Europe. After the brutal amputation from the continent of the principal religious enemies/competitors of Rome (Protestants especially Lutherans, Orthodoxies, Jews and 'bad' Roman Catholics), it arrives the time of the 'healing' of the wounds of amputation. On them Rome will plant the religious prostheses of the new artificial Roman Catholic limbs. The Italian purchasing of Slovenian estates and pieces of economy are an example of such religious, social bio-medical engineering. The disappearing of the Slovenian language realized no more with hot traditional wars but with economical and cultural wars, is a consequence of the Jesuit crusade against any heritage and remainder to the Reforma. The 'new' Europe, the European Union, which will exit from this crusade is a dead mannequin of Rome. See the article of today's Primorski Dnevnik:

Two versions of »Quì si parla solo italiano« (= "Here we speak only Italian" - avles)

Testimony psychoanalyst Paul Fonda on 150-th anniversary of Italy

Thursday, 17 March 2011 | 08:49 |

Psychoanalyst Paul Fonda once skied in the mountains of South Tyrol (in Italy - avles), during the break he wanted to afford a snack kiosk and waiting for the snack he verified that the locals serve food only to those who ask for it in German. Overwhelmed by anger, at one time he wanted to hit the table and shout: Here we are in Italy and, therefore, we speaks only Italian (§). In the last moment he stopped himself because that phrase sounded to him somewhat familiar. This is a sentence which, fifty years before, in the middle of Trieste, an unknown man "addressed" to his mother and slaped her in the face because she spoke with a friend in Slovenian language.

The psychoanalyst of Trieste described this personal experience in the book "Unconsciously in history. Fojbe”. This case also helps us to understand the much schizophrenic situation that we are experiencing in our locality (even with today's anniversary of the birth of Italy) well known by Fonda. And how the psychoanalyst is experiencing this 150-year? With great relief, says because he got thank God rid of large nationalist (Italian and Slovenian) requirement, which marked him as a man and at the same time also as a member of the Slovenian minority. The twentieth century was for humanity in Europe a terrible disaster, creating a collective tragedy, pain and wounds that are difficult to heal, and notwithstanding they are healing and this is essential.

Today fortunately we live in a time of good neighbor relations and of development opportunities that influenced us to hope in better times, it feels Fonda.

Fonda twenty years ago was very happy about the birth of independent Slovenia and now understands the Italians who are really happy about the birth of the independent Italian state in 1861.

And what else was the destruction of Yugoslavia if not the opening of the safe where Rome closed the religious plunder of the West Balkans? (*) Slowly, 'pacifically', using 'national' mouths, now Rome will devour the contain of that safe. The Italian purchasing in the Slovenian Karst and of the Slovenian economy is only the first phase of digestion of a particular part of the content, a digestion called "pacific Italianization". The enzimes of the Latinization are destroying Slovenia, its culture and the language, then absorbed by intestine of the Council of Trent:

Above image - Primož Trubar or Primož Truber[nb 1] (About this sound pronunciation ) (1508[nb 2] – 28 June 1586)[1] was a Slovene protestant reformer, the founder and the first superintendent of the Protestant Church of the Slovene Lands, a consolidator of the Slovene language and the author of the first Slovene-language printed book.[2] Trubar is a key figure of Slovenian cultural history and in many aspects a major historical personality.[1][3]

No image - Jurij Dalmatin (c. 1547–1589) was a Slovene Lutheran minister, writer and translator.

Born in Krško, Dalmatin became a preacher in Ljubljana in 1572. He was the author of several religious books, such as Karšanske lepe molitve ("Beautiful Christian Prayers", 1584), Ta kratki würtemberški katekizmus ("The Short Württemberg Catechism", 1585), and Agenda (1589). However, his most important achievement is the complete translation of the Bible into Slovene, which he allegedly wrote to a large extent at Turjak Castle under the protection of the Carniolan governor, Herbard VIII von Auersperg ("Hervard Turjaški"), and his son Christoph von Auersperg, who are said to have provided for the translator Dalmatin a "Wartburg"-type sanctuary[1][2][3] as had been offered to Martin Luther by Frederick the Wise, the Elector of Saxony. This, however, is refuted as pure legend.[4]

The original title of Damatin's translation was Bibilija, tu je vse svetu pismu stariga inu noviga testamenta, slovenski tolmačena skuzi Jurija Dalmatina ("The Bible: That Is, the Entire Holy Scripture of the Old and the New Testament, translated into Slovene by Jurij Dalmatin"), and it was published in 1584, printed in the Bohorič alphabet. The translation set the norm for the Slovene standard language (with later innovations in vocabulary) until the first half of the 19th century.

Dalmatin died in Ljubljana in 1589.

Above image - Adam Bohorič (About this sound pronunciation ) (c. 1520 – November 20, 1598) was a Slovene Protestant preacher, teacher and author of the first grammar of Slovene.

Bohorič was born in the market town of Rajhenburg (now known as Brestanica, a part of Krško) in the Duchy of Carniola, on the border between Lower Carniola and Lower Styria (now in Slovenia). In 1584, he wrote his most important work, Articae horulae succisivae. This book, written in Latin, is the first grammar of Slovene and also the first Slovene normative guide. In this work Bohorič set the rules for the first Slovene alphabet, now called the Bohorič alphabet (Slovene: bohoričica), which was used up to the 1840s, when it was replaced by Gaj's Latin alphabet (Slovene: gajica).

No image - Sebastian Krelj, also known as Sebastjan Krelj, Sebastijan Krelj or Boštjan Krelj (1538–1567) was a Slovene Protestant reformer, writer, theologian, linguist and preacher and regarded as one of the most educated Slovene Protestants of the 16th century[1]..

Krejl was born in Vipava, then part of the Duchy of Carniola. He studied at University of Jena and became a follower of the Lutheran preacher and author Primož Trubar, the leader of the Protestant Reformation in the Slovene Lands, whom he assisted as a preacher in Ljubljana. Krelj had a wide linguistic and philologic knowledge: besides Slovene, German and Latin, he knew Ancient Greek, Hebrew, Croatian and glagolitic literature. Krelj put the central dialect into context of dialects spoken by Istrians, the inhabitants of the Vipava Valley and Lower Carniolans. He identified and used the signs: s, z, c, š, ž, č, and his reforms were taken up by Dalmatin in the bible [1].

In Ljubljana he later became superintendent of Slovenian Protestant Church.

The manifestation, which took place in July 1881 and saw the participation of one thousand and four hundreds Slavs of the double monarchy, was directed by the bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer, one of the most tough promoters of the re-approaching between the churches in the XIX century, as decisive moment for the obtaining of the political union of the southern Slavs....."

Your heart is white

since ancient ages,

It is like a piece of stone. -

It is white, white

at the moonlight.

Fire

sparkles

from your eyes

in the quite evening

and, watch,

we are the remains of a fire,

ancient cemetery,

within us it shines

only chaos.

(As I have no time, no resources, no money, no support at disposition, it is clear that what I wrote is affected by many errors and uncorrectness. I am not a prostitute lay journalist of this dirty Vatican 'tollerant' regime called 'democracy'. I have not the 51% of the Bank of America supporting my writings. I don't control the Casinò of Ostenda and neither Citroen and Peugeot as the General Superior did at least in 1958. So corrections and additions could appear in the future)
