World War I

Early in 1918 Hemingway responded to a Red Cross recruitment effort in Kansas City and signed on to be an ambulance driver in Italy.[13] He left New York in May, and arrived in Paris as the city was under bombardment from German artillery.[14] By June he was stationed at the Italian Front. It was probably around this time that he first met John Dos Passos, with whom he would maintain a rocky relationship for decades thereafter.[15] On his first day in Milan, he was sent to the scene of a munitions factory explosion where rescuers retrieved the shredded remains of female workers. He described the incident in his non-fiction book Death in the Afternoon: "I remember that after we searched quite thoroughly for the complete dead we collected fragments".[16] A few days later he was stationed at Fossalta di Piave.
He sustained severe shrapnel wounds to both legs, underwent an immediate operation at a distribution center, spent five days at a field hospital before he was transferred for recuperation to the Red Cross hospital in Milan.[18] He spent six months at the hospital where he met and formed a strong friendship with "Chink" Dorman-Smith that lasted for decades, and shared a room with future American foreign service officer, ambassador, and author Henry Serrano Villard.[19]
While recuperating he fell in love for the first time of his life with Agnes von Kurowsky, a Red Cross nurse seven years his senior. By the time of his release and return to the United States in January 1919, Agnes and Hemingway planned to marry within a few months in America. However in March she wrote that she had become engaged to an Italian officer. Biographer Jeffrey Meyers claims Hemingway was devastated by Agnes' rejection, and that he followed a pattern of abandoning a wife before she abandoned him in future relationships.[20]

A Farewell to Arms is a novel written by Ernest Hemingway set during the Italian campaign of World War I. The book, published in 1929, is a first-person account of American Frederic Henry, serving as a Lieutenant ("Tenente") in the ambulance corps of the Italian Army. The title is taken from a poem by 16th-century English dramatist George Peele.[1]
A Farewell to Arms focuses on a doomed romance between Henry and a British nurse, Catherine Barkley, against the backdrop of the World War I, cynical soldiers, fighting and the displacement of populations. The publication of this, Hemingway's bleakest novel, cemented his stature as a modern American writer,[2] became his first best-seller, and is described by biographer Michael Reynolds as "the premier American war novel from that debacle [World War I]".[3]
The novel was first adapted to film in 1932, with further versions in the following decades.[4]

From Italian page Wikipedia, from the plot of the novel "A Farewell to Arms". Sentiments and passion and personal tragedies admirably described by the hand of Hemingway but then recruited in the cultural army of Continuing Counter Reformation?

On 24 October 1917 the Italian front collapsed at Caporetto. The group of ambulances Frederic is overwhelmed by the mass of soldiers in chaotic retreat, so that drivers must give the means. They deal with several incidents, including the meeting with a group of mutinous soldiers who beat up all the officers they encounter. Upon crossing the bridge over the Tagliamento, Frederic was stopped by the "Battle Police". He adventurously save himself diving into the river.

Frederic adventurously can reach Catherine in Stresa, and the two are forced to leave Italy because the military police on his trail and is about to arrest him. After an eventful night crossing of Lake Maggiore, the couple joined the Swiss shores of the lake, and happiness will be short-lived, however: Catherine fact died in Lausanne in an attempt to give birth to the son of Frederic, who was born dead. The hero finds himself alone and therefore with no purpose in a sad ending of the novel, and leaves saddened by the city.

*** "Decimation".

"......Decimation (Latin: decimatio; decem = "ten") was a form of military discipline used by officers in the Roman Army to punish mutinous or cowardly soldiers. The word decimation is derived from Latin meaning "removal of a tenth".........
The Italian General Luigi Cadorna applied decimation to under-performing units during the First World War.[9] In his book Stalingrad, Antony Beevor recounts how, during the Second World War, a Soviet Corps commander of a division practised decimation on retreating soldiers by walking down the line of soldiers at attention, and shooting every tenth soldier in the face until his TT-33 pistol ran out of ammunition.[10]............"

The Queen of Europe and the Rome Wall

Video "DAL FILM UOMINI CONTRO DI FRANCESCO ROSI (1970)" [Uomini contro = Men against] is taken from the romance "Un anno sull'Altipiano" ["One year on the plateau"] by Emilio Lussu

The film for the strong resistance encountered was shot in Yugoslavia in Centralni Filmski Kosutnjak Studio in Belgrade (Wikipedia).
The armoured protection have been really tested, even if the event of the film is an artistical interpretation. As says a comment below the video, in the war museum of Rovereto (near the city of Trento), there's one of such armoured 'protection' exposed for the public. With an hole of a bullett.....

Uploaded by MatsuTakakoNoFan on Oct 4, 2007

The scene in which the general `obtuse Leone (Alain Cuny) sent the first soldiers to die of unnecessary protected by armor (whose purpose was to protect them while they cut the barbed wire with pliers) and then, despite the failure of this operation, sends his soldiers to attack. Even enemies can not take anymore of mattanza.Tratto from the movie "MEN AGAINST" by Francesco Rosi with Gian Maria Volonte in turn based on the book "A Year on the plateau" of Emilio Lussu. The plateau is to Asiago, is that the war of 1915-1918.

Dear Sir, i have read a lot of pages of your amazing thoughts, but it's still difficult to join you.My principal question is:
how the wizards of the devil vatican banks can transfer the souls of trapped people by debt and blood sacrifices in fetish gold, how does it work and why do they need so much siggil money right now? thank you for your "Weltanschaung".

avles said...

No, your soul is not transferred in gold, but is imprisoned by the chain of the economic dependance. Banknote have a high symbolic value, they represent the invisible essence of something of material, the ''work''. They represents your "salvation gained through work". Banknotes are a perfect reproduction of the logic of the RC church's indulgences. For this reason Rome had to put the hands on the finance, to make work her religious propaganda system. Dialectic Materialism with the superiority of the MATERIAL structure of the society is only Council of Trent which says the superiority of the MATERIAL papacy and church on every other entity on earth.
Why they need such money? But because this is a mountain of obligations with which to oblige the people..... The religious allusion of the debt is that you have too much debt with ''God'' cause your sins. Jews who wants to put the hands on money are a fake of Rome as the sacrality of money (your work for your salvation) must be confirmed by the "evil" jewish obsession with it:

"......The bourgeois is the prototype of the – by Rome - most hated kind of humans on hearth. He is hated because he is “greedy”. He is hated because he accumulates material wealth without any other finality if not the pleasure to own wealth & things. Therefore he is hated because his material works are not finalized to save his/her soul.

Of course from this point forward, to affirm that the successful accumulation of wealth is a “sign of predestination” as regard salvation & grace, there is the same distance lying from the top of the fingers of the short human arms till the bottom of the feet of our Lord. Calvinists, with their predestination, simply thought to fill the eternal distance with a successful accumulation. But what they do with their efforts of economical success is not a successful purchase of eternal salvation, it is only an attempt to purchase the credibility of some humans about the alleged fact that their salvation has been certified by their budgets.
Meanwhile Roman Catholicism pretend to lengthen the worldly arms of the faithfuls in order to reach the Lord using a paper named “indulgence” (or a surrogate of it, payable in the moral banks of Rome), with an opposite direction, but of the same theological sign, Calvinism pretend that the Lord the same must lengthen his holy arms to them, in order to sign a bookkeeper document to be then exhibited to other humans as “certificate of gained salvation”..........."

Only cretinism has been told around capitalism!!! Or the "jewish plot", or the "capitalist plot"!!!!
I dare the entire planet to find if someone BEFORE me, had openly indicated the ROMAN CATHOLIC THEOLOGY OF THE COUNTER REFORMATION/COUNCIL OF TRENT as source of Dialectic Materialism and modern phylosophy of economy!!!

"THE protestant wanted only to grab the wealth of the church" (Council of Trent)

"The protestantism is the ideology of the rising of a new class of exploiters, the bourgoise" (K. Marx)

Are years I'm repeating this.

<<.....Many of the aristocratic families abandoned the Church and joined the Lutheran teaching, also with the intention to take possession of the church's wealth. ........>> DOCC JANKO KRALJ

DOC janko kralj was anti-communist collaborant with Mussolini's forces. archbishop Rozman openly welcomed Fascist in Slovenia with the intention to push the 'heretic' liberal modern Social Chrristian in the Communism and therefore to attack the liberalism inside the church as "true threat feeding Communist evilness".

Its all linked in slovenia: praxis and theory of the Council of Trent/Marxism

the abovve sentence of Janko Kralj, super-anti-communist, and during the war the man whom Ales Bebler, commander of partisan in Primorje and veteran Communist of Spain war, wanted to kill, is the same one you can encounter of a whatever Communist/Marxist/Dialectic Materialist on this sad planet
