THE RAT IS BACK.

1944:

"There was a little doubt in London that Bishop Rožman was a notorious Nazi quisling who deserved extradition to Tito's Yugoslavia. The evidence against him was overwhelming. In addition to his anti-Semitic Pastoral Letter, Rožman was photographed on the dais with the local SS commander during an official ceremony. The Homeguard [Domobranci] had just sworn to serve under Hitler's command and were marching past their commanding officer. The SS General stood rigidly to attention, giving the Nazi salute, while the Bishop gave pious approval to his quisling army." [from UNHOLY ALLIANCE]

" "Griesser Pečar: Rožman strove that the nation could   overcame war with minimal losses" ....(.....)....
"Rožman has sought to ensure the nation would overcome the war with the minimal losses. Was deeply convinced that the Allies would win, and that the German defeat will be determined elsewhere than in Slovenia. Therefore considered that the violent rebellion people is not the right way to go. It would have provoked only unnecessary casualties. He wanted the slovenian nation - and in full consciousness that Germans and Italians wanted  destroy [the Slovenian nation] - with minimal casualties to bridge the war. Likewise he was  convinced that Communism is even a greater evil than Nazism and fascism. He claimed that, once Fascism and Nazism will be defeated, Communism, if he came to power, would remained a long time. History gave him also," she concluded....(....)....

.......She [historian Tamaro Griesser Pečar] also said that the bishop [Rožman] was thinking about the public condemnation of the Italian occupying forces from the pulpit, but Pope Pius XII.  in May 1942 during his visit to Rome, discouraged him , saying that in this case he [Rožman] would have been interned somewhere in the interior of Italy, and the diocese of Ljubljana would lose the man who can be an intermediary for the people. Even before the German attack on Yugoslavia 6 April 1941 [false, it was a German and Italian aggression without preventive declaration of war - avles] Polish priests, says Griesser Pečarreported to him German atrocities,  in the spring of 1940 he [bishop Rožman] secretly gave the order to translate, print and distribute a report written by the Polish Cardinal August Hlond for the Pope."

"....According to Helga Jonat Hecht

Strangely or not, in a complex scheme of events, the Polish Catholic church under Polish Primate Cardinal August Hlond aided the Soviet Russian communists at the time of takeover of German land and expulsion of German citizens from Prussia east of the Oder-Neisse River line replacing them with forced out people from Ukraine and Belarus, etc. When the city was given to Poland after '45 any remaining German protestants had to convert to Catholicism, change their names to Polish names and take on Polish identities or be expelled.

"I'll tell you honestly what I think of the MVAC. I'm not Slovenian, but also watch the Slovenes and their struggle: MVAC helps us Italians very much ... but among the Slovenes it creates such hatred that in fifty years you will not be able to overcome it. "

i further elaborated the post adding "Likewise he [Rožman ] was convinced that Communism is even a greater evil than Nazism and fascism" for a comparison with card. Hlond's appeasement with Communism.

"in full consciousness that Germans and Italians wanted destroy [the Slovenian nation]" (Rožman ) and "Polish Primate Cardinal August Hlond aided the Soviet Russian communists at the time of takeover of German land and expulsion of German citizens from Prussia east of the Oder-Neisse River line".

I did the ultimate filing to the message, with the opportune bold charachters, now is OK (I noted difficulties in editing, the line going almost off, etc... CCR sabotage?)
